Why Convert CR2 to JPG?
JPG is supported everywhere — every browser, email client, social media platform, and photo editor. CR2 files are typically 20–30 MB each, while the converted JPG is usually 2–5 MB with excellent quality. Perfect for sharing photos online, sending by email, or uploading to social media.
How to Convert CR2 to JPG
Upload your CR2 file by dragging it into the converter or clicking to browse. Files up to 50 MB are supported.
KoalaPic decodes the RAW sensor data with your camera’s white balance for accurate colors. Default JPG quality is 85%.
Download your converted JPG. Both files are automatically deleted after 1 hour for your privacy.
Quality Note
CR2 files contain 12–14 bits per channel of sensor data. The conversion decodes this to an 8-bit sRGB JPG. At 85% quality, the output looks virtually identical to what your camera’s built-in JPG engine would produce.
