What this page shows
This page reports whether KoalaPic is working right now: the conversion service, the API, the task queue, the download endpoints and the chat bots, each checked live rather than updated by hand. If a conversion is failing for you and everything here is green, the problem is usually the file rather than the service.
What is being checked
- The web application and the API, which are the two paths a conversion can arrive through.
- The task queue and its workers, which do the actual image processing.
- The download endpoints, which serve finished files for one hour after conversion.
- The Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp and Slack bots, which share the same conversion engine as the site.
Is KoalaPic down right now?
This page answers that from live checks rather than a manual update, so a green board means the service was responding within the last few minutes. The API status page adds 90 days of uptime history and any incident write-ups.
My conversion failed but the status page is green. What now?
That usually means the file rather than the service: an unsupported format, a file above the 50 MB limit, or an image whose extension does not match its actual contents. The format identifier reads the real format from a file's own bytes, and the help centre covers the common failures.
