How to resize images

KoalaPic makes it easy to resize images to exact dimensions, percentages, or popular presets.
Resize options
- Go to the Resize page.
- Upload your image(s).
- Choose a resize mode:
- Percentage — Scale to 25%, 50%, 75%, or a custom percentage.
- Custom dimensions — Enter exact width and/or height in pixels. Leave one blank to maintain aspect ratio.
- Presets — Choose from 20 common sizes like 1920x1080 (Full HD), 1080x1080 (Instagram Square), 800x600, and more.
- Convert and download.
Upscaling
KoalaPic supports upscaling images up to 4x their original size using Lanczos resampling, which produces sharp results. However, upscaling beyond 2x may introduce visible artifacts — you can’t add detail that wasn’t in the original.
Aspect ratio
By default, KoalaPic maintains aspect ratio. If you specify both width and height, the image will be resized to fit within those dimensions (no cropping, no distortion). For exact dimensions with cropping, use the Crop tool first.
Batch resize
Upload multiple images and they’ll all be resized to the same dimensions. Download individually or as a ZIP file.
