Using KoalaPic on WhatsApp

Convert images on WhatsApp by messaging the KoalaPic number.

Getting started

  1. Save the KoalaPic WhatsApp number to your contacts (available on the website).
  2. Open WhatsApp and send a message to start.
  3. Send an image as a document (not as a photo, which WhatsApp compresses).
  4. Reply with the desired output format (e.g., “jpg”, “png”, “webp”).
  5. Receive your converted image.

Commands

Send these as text messages:

Message Description
hi or hello Start / show welcome message
help List available commands
formats Show supported formats
history View recent conversions

Tips

  • Always send images as documents (tap the paperclip > Document) to avoid WhatsApp’s built-in compression.
  • Supported formats are the same as the web converter.
  • Rate limit: 30 conversions per hour per phone number.
  • Files are processed on KoalaPic’s servers and deleted after 1 hour.
